Fashion Victim was the twenty-fifth episode of Growing Up Creepie. It premiered on April 12, 2008 paired with "Creepie Crawling."
To stop anyone from winning a very powerful bug-zapper Creepie enters a fashion show.
Synopsis[]
While Creepie and Budge are together during lunch at school, Creepie discovers her brothers, Nat and Pauly are in her bagged lunch. Chris-Alice comes in passing out flyers for the upcoming Middlington Fashion-Forward contest, hosted by celebrity judge, Jolie Jolie, an event Chris-Alice’s father’s extermination business is sponsoring. The grand prize is “The Exterminator 5000,” an ultra-violet bug zapper no bug can resist, which Creepie finds terrifying.
Carla and Melanie overhear Chris-Alice’s announcements and are overcome with joy at the idea of winning the contest, Carla especially given that she is a big fan of Jolie Jolie. Carla briefly talks to Creepie about the contest, but a mix-up with their bagged lunches leads to Carla taking Creepie’s bag, inadvertently taking Nat and Pauly with her.
When Creepie realizes the mix-up, she follows Carla to get her bag and brothers back, to which Carla leads her to an abandoned mall where she and her friends host secret fashion meetings, referring to their club as the “Sisters of Style.”
When Creepie gets caught trying to take her lunch bag back sneakily, Carla assumes Creepie was there to ask for help with her looks, so she and the other girls work to give Creepie an elaborate makeover. However, when Chris-Alice later takes notice of this change of style, she encourages Creepie to enter the pageant, which Creepie reluctantly agrees to after Budge mentions that Creepie would be the best choice for the bug zapper price.
At the pageant, Creepie, Carla, Mimi, and Jasmine are all contestants. Jolie Jolie quickly gives Mimi and Jasmine the boot by insulting their outfits, but gives Carla and Creepie some more practical fashion advice, stating that Carla shouldn’t put it all out there and that Creepie is not comfortable with what she is doing.
For the final challenge, Carla comes out wearing an ultra-violet dress thinking it’s fashion forward while Creepie comes out in her default outfit. When asked about this, Creepie states she decided to skip the previous look and stick to what makes her feel comfortable.
Jolie Jolie is impressed with Creepie’s style and declares her the winner, claiming Carla’s outfit shrieks “Forget it.” Why Jolie Jolie dislikes Carla’s outfit is not explained, though it may be because Jolie Jolie specifically told Carla not to put it all out there and Carla ignored her.
Creepie receives the ultra-violet bug zapper prize and promptly throws it into a dumpster behind the building. Carla comes out through the same door angry about losing the pageant, however, because Carla is wearing an outfit that is also ultra-violet, she accidentally attracts large swarms of bugs and is chased down the street.
